Can also attach an xref that contains other xrefs to a drawing
Civil xref contains 2 xrefs, Survey and Landscape
Attachment
The xref name and the directory path become a permanent part of the drawing
Overlay
Not included when the host drawing is attached or overlaid as an xref to another drawing
This prevents from attaching the same nested file twice or creating a circular reference
Architectural reference the Civil drawing without it being carried forward to the Site Plan
Path Type
Full path (Absolute): includes the local hard drive letter or the network server drive letter
Relative path: allows to move a set of drawings from current drive to a different drive that uses the same folder structure
No path: moving a set of drawings to a different folder hierarchy or to an unknown folder hierarchy
