OLE Object

Import

When import an OLE object into a drawing, the information is static and does not update when you make changes to the original data

Import Word documents and Excel spreadsheets as OLE objects:

1. Copy or cut information from a source file and paste it into the drawing file
   
2. Import an existing file created in another application
   
3. Create the information by opening another application from within the drawing file
   

Linking

link information contained in a file created with another application such as Word or Excel to a drawing

The linked file automatically updates when modify the source file
