Assign Action Macro to shortcut keys for convenience in playing them
- Record and Edit the macro as desired
- On the Customization panel, click User Interface
3. Right-click in the Command List area. Click New Command.
Verify a new command is created in the list and is selected

4. In the right pane, under Properties:
- For Name, enter a name that describes the action macro.
- For Macro, enter the name of the action macro. This would be the same as what you would enter at the command line to play the macro
NOTE: To ensure that other commands are exited before the macro is played, enter ^C^C^C before the name of the macro.
For example, if the name of the action macro is dwgstd, you would enter ^C^C^Cdwgstd for the macro name
5. Click Apply
6. In the left pane, under Customization in All CUI Files, expand Keyboard Shortcuts
7. Under Command List, select the new command. Drag the command to Shortcut Keys under Keyboard Shortcuts
8. Under Shortcut Keys, verify the new shortcut is selected
9. In the right pane, in Properties > Access > Keys, click [...]
10. In the Shortcut Keys dialog box, press the desired shortcut keys. Click OK
