Edit Action Macro

 

By right-clicking on an action item, you can access shortcut menus that are a function of the action selected

 
The shortcut menu may present different options, depending upon the type of action select

Insert User Message: Inserts a message before the command

All Points are Relative: Toggle On / Off
On: All coordinates in macro referenced from the last point
Off: All coordinates are absolute from the origin of current UCS

Macro-created object Selection: Object selection contains only the objects that have been created within the current action macro


Ex: Create and Edit Action Macro


Create Action Macro

Manage tab > Action Recorder pamel > Record

Type "-style" then [Enter]
Type "Annotative", [Emter]
Ty[e "arial", [Enter]
Specify Height of Text Font: a
Press [Enter] for the default value for the remaining prompts
Action Recorder panel > Stop
Action Macro dialog box - Name: AnnoFont, OK

The steps show n the Action Tree
Create a Macro call another Macro
Manage tab > Action Recorder pamel > Record

Click Zoom Extents
Type "LA" for Layer Properties Manager
Set the Layer's Color, Linetype, Lineweight

Insert a Macro

Type "AnnoFont", [Enter]
Action Macro Playback Complete dialog box - OK
Action Recorder > Stop
Action Macro dialog box - Name: DWGStd, OK

Play Macro

Action Recorder panel > Play

Action Macro - Playback dialog box, OK

Drawing zoom to extents, layer changes accordingly

Run a Macro requires User Input

Manage tab > Action Recorder pamel > Record
Type "C" for circle


Specify a center point for the circle
Type "D" for diameter, 0.5, [Enter]
Press [Spacebar] to repeat the Circle command
Snap to the same center point of the 1st circle
Type "D" for diameter, 0.625, [Enter]
Select the outer circle, place on the Hidden layer
Action Recorder panel > Stop
Action Macro dialog box - Name: DrillTap, OK

Right-click on absolute coordinate of 1st circle - Request User Input


Right-click on relative coordinate of 2nd circle - Relative to Previous
