2D objects created from closed loops
Closed loops can be combinations of lines, polylines, circles, arcs, ellipses, elliptical arcs, and splines
Regions can be created by Region or Boundary commands
Create Region by Region command: New regions on current layer, original objets deleted
Create Region by Boundary command: New regions on current layer, original objets remain
Region has similar behavior to 3D solid that can combine them with Boolean operations
