Divide and Measure

The Divide and Measure commands simplify the process of placing point objects or blocks at evenly spaced intervals 间隔 along both regular and irregular shaped objects

Divide

Point objects or blocks are evenly spaced along the object to represent the number of specified segments

a line divided into six equal segments

Command Options

Enter the Number of Segments: number of segments to divide

Block:                                                 name of a block to place

Align Block with Object:              preference (Y/N) for aligning the block

Anticipating Divide Direction

Select the object on the side from which you want to begin the division calculations

Divide command does not actually break an object into individual entities

It only identifies the location of the divisions

Measure

Set points at regular intervals

Place point objects or blocks along an object at specific intervals

Command Options

Specify the Length of Segment: the length of each segment to measure
